Our process makes it very easy and simple for you to have an item placed on eBay!!

Step 1: Bring your item to our store
- This allows our staff to view the item and discuss the various details of your items’ auction.
- Not sure of the value of your item? We can assist you in researching other auctions on eBay for the same/similar item.

Step 2: Fill out a short form
- The basics - Name, Address, Ph #, etc. This is required so that we can contact you if there is a question about your item. This is also required so we know where to send your check after a buyer wins your auction!!
- Details about the item - Type of item, Brand, model, if there is any damage to the item, etc.. The more details we obtain from you about your item, the more information we can place in the auction which in turn helps potential buyers understand your item in more detail. This turns into higher bids.

Step 3: Inventory the item
- Once the form is completed, we inventory your item. We create and assign a unique bar-code number and label your item. This unique bar-code ID matches the ID number on the form you completed. This is how we track the items.
- We then enter the item and the information you provided into our database. From this point on, we take possession of the item and keep it our stock until the item in won in an auction or you wish to not relist the item (if the item did not sale at the end of the auction.

Step 4: down payment
- All items received for auction require a down-payment before the item will be listed.
- Down-payment
- 10% of the declared value of the item (Minimum $10)
- 15% of the declared value of the item to relist item if item fails to sale during 1st auction (please see store for details)

Step 5: High Resolution Photos
- (This point and beyond, we handle remainder of the process).
- High Resolution digital pictures are taken of your item to be placed and stored on our web server.

Step 6: Item professionally packed for shipping
- All items are professionally packed and ready for shipping.
- Shipping box is labeled with matching bar-code created in Step 3 above.
- Item is then stored in our secure stock area until item sells in an auction or customer wishes to receive item back.

Step 7: Auction is created and posted to eBay
- Using our professional auction management software, your item’s auction is created and posted with the details you provided in Step 2.
- You will receive an e-mail once your auction is posted with a link to your auction. This will allow you to watch the bidding on your auction.

Step 8: End of Auction
- Auction ends with a winning bidder (means someone won your auction).
- An e-mail informing you that someone won your auction with the final bid price (Selling amount)
- A notice is e-mailed to the winning bidder with payment instructions. Winning bidder has 72 hours to send payment to AUCTION DOT COM
- Once payment is received from winning bidder (via Major Credit Card, Bank Transfer [a/k/a eCheck] or PayPal), we send your item to the purchaser and an e-mail is sent to the purchaser informing when the item shipped along with the tracking information.
- You receive check from us in 14 business days in the amount of the sale price of your auction minus our commission. (See Chart above for example or click here to view our rates.)
- Auction ends without a winning bidder (means no bids where placed or a reserve price was not met).
- You have a choice:
- Have your item re-listed at later date (ie: wait 7 days, 14 days... up to 30 days) [NOTE: additional fees would apply] or...
- You may come down and pick up your item. In most cases*, $10.00 will be retained from your down payment to cover auction posting fees and processing fees which are charged to us from eBay. * Special rules apply - please contact us details .
